Greetings,
i'm using ms ReportViewer which was provided. heres the deal, in my report
parameters if i leave "prompt" empty and unchecked "allow null value" and
click in preview, i do not see the parameters being shown at the header.
WHICH IS WHAT I WANT. GOOD. but then, if i were to use the report viewer in
the web enviroment, and having set Parameters=true OR false makes not
difference... with true it still shows the parameter as textbox and if i set
it to false, my other parameter will not be visiable. so i NEED to set it to
TRUE.
can someone please advice me?
thanks.
Asha. You need to go to the properties tab of the report in ReportManager. Click
the parameters sub tab. For the parameter you want hidden, make sure
'Prompt User' is checked and that there is no prompt string.
