report viewer conrtol problem

alslamo alikom...

Hi all...i have a problem with the report viewer control in visual studio 2005 ...i use the control to view a local report file (.rdlc)...and when i change the corresponding xml file (.rdlc) for example using the notepad...and then clicking refresh in the report viewer no thing happens and the new changes done to the report viewer doesn't appear....i have to close the whole application and run it again....so the new changes appear in the viewer....or i tried to remove the control from the form and construct a new one at run time viewing the same .rdlc file and add the new coonstructed viewer to the form and it viewed the new changes done to the .rdlc file...so the question is :

is there any way to refresh the report viewer...making it connect again to the .rdlc file and redraw it with the new changes...?

happy to communicate with u....wish u all a happy life...and thx for ur concern....

Clicking the refresh button will only reload the data for a report, not the report definition itself. To reload the definition, call ReportViewer.Reset(), and set the necessary properties on ReportViewer.LocalReport.|||
