report renders manually; subscription doesn't work

I can manually render and view a report, but my subscription to the same
report fails with this error in the log file:

JSOHi Berry,
Based on my experience, the KB article 834859 probably applies to the issue
related to email delivery on your computer. As mentioined in the KB 834859,
there is a known issue that AuthzInitializeContextFromSid function passes a
non-null-terminated string to the DsGetDcName function. Apparently this
issue potentially cause problems when Reporting Services tries to use this
function.
To resolve this problem immediately, please contact Microsoft Product
Support Services to obtain the hotfix. For a complete list of Microsoft
Product Support Services phone numbers and information about support costs,
visit the following Microsoft Web site:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;[LN];CNTACTMS
Note In special cases, charges that are ordinarily incurred for support
calls may be canceled if a Microsoft Support Professional determines that a
specific update will resolve your problem. The usual support costs will
apply to additional support questions and issues that do not qualify for
the specific update in question.
You may also want to apply Windows 2003 SP1 which includes this hotfix.
If the issue persists, I suggest that you refer to the following article to
troubleshoot the issue:
