Report with multiple columns won't print in portrait
set the page width to 8.5in and the page height to 5in. If I set the page
height to 11in it prints OK (but I need to limit the height to 5in.
Also, can I use this report as the report source for a subreport control?

You might try modifying the Report Properties Layout, if you haven't
already: via: Layout view -> Report drop-down -> Report Properties... -
> Layout tab -> Page height:, Top margin:, Bottom margin:. If you are
using columns, reduce the Spacing: property. For the subreport
control, you can use the report; however, it it has report columns,
once it is exported it will remove the columns automatically. This is
evidently a flaw in the export functionality. Hope this helps.

Report width gets stretched
I'm catching on quickly). However one really annoying thing that I can't
figure out is how to prevent the report from resizing or "stretching"
horizontally once I render my report. In the report layout designer,
everything looks fine. This only happens when I render the report (either
under the preview tab, or in a web browser.) This is especially important to
fix as the reports will be displayed in a java-script opened window to
specified proportions where scrolling vertically is necessary, but scrolling
horizontally will cause problems with the interface.Just an addition to my above post. I noticed that this only happens when I
enable the report footer. When I disable it, the report sizes properly. Any
help will be greatly appreciated.

Report Viewer Parameter Dropdown width
Does anyone know how to control the width of the parameter dropdownlist? If you select "Multi-value" for the parameter (non-sp1 version) the parameter list is in a dropdownlist that is manageable in size. If you do not use the multi-value parameter, it looks like the width of the dropdownlist is determined by the width of the longest text of the returned parameters.
Is there any way to control the width of the dropdown?
Thanks
Rob
pretty sure there is no way to do this|||I spent some time "fighting" with this problem. The only way this might be achieved is to play with the customizable style sheets for the Report Manager.
I solved my problem by making the text in the multi-value dropdown smaller.
|||Hi
Where can I find this style sheet?
I've had this problem since I started using
SSRS 4 months ago.
Thanks

Report Title Help
How can I make my report title width the same as the table? The table can hide some columns based on the If/Else logic, but Report Title textbox is always static. What happens is that my table can be longer or shorter then my title.
Thanks

You can add an outermost table with two header rows to your report. Put the report title textbox in the first row, and the table you currently have into the second row. That way, the title textbox will grow or shrink based on the width of the inner table.
