Report Server

Hi,
I very new in Reporting Services and relatively new in .NET and have problem using Report Server . First of all it's not clear for me how to install this server. I found some instruction at Reporting Service book on-line but it's not that clear. Book said that I can add Proxy using Add Web Reference. Unfortunately, Report Server is not listed in URL field on my machine. (I assumed it should be in //localhost/reportserver/reportservice.asmx but it's not). Can/should I create it using .net Web Services technique or it has to be created during installation of Reporting Services on my machine? That installation was done before I started to work here and I am not sure that it was done correctly.
