Report Server Windows Service

Why does this windows sevice fails in attempt to turn on?
but when i access the rs manager all is fine. when i query the reportservice.asmx?wsdl all is fine.
i access via a seperate app all is fine.
i'm puzzled.Look at the ReportingServicesServer[datetime].log in Reporting
Services\LogFiles directory.
